Are you running a marathon at sprint speed, juggling career deadlines, family dinners, and that ever-elusive ”me time”? Welcome to Working Mom Moments, where we turn chaos into clarity and overwhelm into opportunity! I’m Lacy Jungman, corporate executive and mom of four boys. I understand what it’s like to feel overwhelmed with the mental load of being a working mom. I used to think constant exhaustion and stress were just part of the deal. But here’s the truth I discovered: getting stuck in that mindset was holding me back from creating the life I actually wanted. That’s exactly why I created this show. In this podcast, you will find: *Real-world solutions that actually work *Conversations with women at varying stages of working motherhood *Skills that apply both at home and at work *Time-saving strategies and motivation for the hard days *A roadmap to mindset transformation While raising our boys alongside my husband, I’ve held various individual contributor and executive roles in both startup and corporate environments. I’ve juggled many scenarios you might be facing. Being a working mom is hard. At times I have felt like I had it all together and other times, I felt like I was letting everyone down. I finally realized I needed to shift my mindset and the lens through which I viewed my relationship with work and motherhood. To do this, I had to get clarity on several aspects of life and surround myself with people who supported me. This show will help you do just that! Whether you’re looking to maximize your time, transform your mindset, or finally find that sweet spot between career ambition and family life – we’ve got you covered. As babies and toddlers, our kids depend on us for everything. From providing food to carrying them around on our hip, our role as a mother is heavily invested in doing so many things for our kids. Before we realize it, though, these babies grow up, and there's a world of opportunity to begin letting them take the lead in certain areas that can reduce our stress and workload at home.
In today's episode, we're talking about the concept of transitioning from "living for our kids" to "living with them" - and experiencing life together. This shift of our mindset, particularly for working moms, can free us from obligations that aren't always necessary as children grow older and need to explore a new level of independence. The concept of living with our children, can begin to free you from working mom guilt we often feel. It can reduce the workload at home and subsequently, some of the stress as well.
If you're ready to get more quality time with kids and feel even a hint of less stress....you won't want to miss this episode!

We're led to believe that the ideal working mom is able to get it all done, be in complete balance and live in a way that doesn't spark overwhelm. Today's episode will rock that mythical belief to its core as I talk with Dr. Anne Welsh, clinical psychologist, executive coach and consultant. As she says, "we're playing a rigged game".
Consider this your very own, free therapy session for all things related to being a working mom:
Transitions and phases
Overwhelm
Balance
Getting it all done
Guilt
Support of those around you (aka your spouse)
Communication
And even a history lesson on the ideal worker
Dr. Welsh began her career at Harvard before opening her own practice with a focus on supporting working parents in growing their careers and families. She is a mother of 4 and draws on her own experience as a mother, her research career in the transition to motherhood, and her 15 years in practice to help parents feel less alone, more connected to themselves and their values, and more empowered to make their own choices.

Today's episode features words of wisdom from my friend, and corporate jungle gym scaler, Shantel Love. Shantel shares her perspective of confidence, communication, boundaries and imposter syndrome. But perhaps the most powerful part of the conversation is wrapped around the concept of "borrowing confidence". It's an approach that was fairly new for me months ago, but I have leveraged in times I needed to feel bold...but didn't quite feel it.
Get ready, this conversation is a powerful one!

Do you want your kids to see the positive aspects of being a working mom?
Are you looking for a way to blend your work and family life together more?
Is your job a mystery to your kids?
Do you find yourself trying to compartmentalize what happens at work and home - striving to keep them separate?
If you've listened to any of my episodes, you know I talk a lot about striving for a work life blend vs a work life balance. You hear me encouraging you to discard our old way of thinking about balance and why that’s important for our emotional and mental health. BUT, how do we actually achieve this blend? One way is by making our children feel included in what we do every day at the office.
In today's episode, we're going to touch on six easy ways you can include your kids in your career...starting today!

What are the sticky floors holding you back at work and at home?
Are you confident in expressing your worth and value as a working mom, or do you downplay your achievements and contributions?
How comfortable are you with asking for help and setting boundaries to create a healthy work-life blend?
In this episode, I sit down with Erica Rooney to discuss her concept of "sticky floors" and "glass ceilings" - and how they impact working moms. While sticky floors refer to the internal barriers, beliefs, and behaviors that hold women back, glass ceilings represent the external barriers and limitations that prevent women from reaching their full potential.
As a Chief People Officer, keynote speaker, and executive coach, Erica shares her personal experiences and provides insights into her framework that helps women break free from sticky floors and overcome self-imposed limitations.
From the importance of building confidence, taking calculated risks and creating an inclusive culture in the workplace that supports working moms...to boundaries and effective communication...no topic is off the table in this discussion!
